“Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive about what could go right” ….. Often, people seem surprised that I travel alone. I always imagined that the worried-disapproving-look was because I was traveling without a friend/partner but I realized today… It is because I am a Woman……… How messed up is that? Have women portrayed themselves as weak, incompetent, vulnerable, and in need of a man for so long… that we cannot even venture out without Men worrying that we are women and Women worrying that we are women?…..
